Getting to APEX and getting around.

Maastricht is easy to reach being well supplied with airports, train stations and auto-routes. Once you are in the city it also very easy to get around.

You can reach the exhibition by plane, train, bus and car.

By Plane


There are several airports serving Maastricht including:

Maastricht-Aachen Airport, www.maa.nl: 10 kilometres from the Fair and only 15 minutes away by car, taxi or bus.

Zaventem Airport Brussels, www.brusselsairport.be: from which the organisers run a free shuttle bus on Sept 13, 14, 15 and 16.

In the central Arrival Hall of Brussels Airport, APEX 2011 has its own counter. Just contact the hostess, who will personally direct you to the bus.

Depending on the traffic, the travelling time between the airport and the MECC is between 100/120 minutes.

On Tuesday September 13 the buses also stop at the Central Station, Market Square, Apple Park Hotel, Novotel and Van der Valk Hotel.

By Car

You will begin to see signs for the MECC as soon as you reach the outskirts of Maastricht. Follow them until you reach the MECC's parking facilities. If you are travelling south on the E25/A2 motorway take exit 55. If you are travelling north on the E25/A2 take exit 56.

By Bus

Maastricht's metropolitan bus company runs a regular service between the city centre, Maastricht Central Station and MECC Maastricht. There is a bus about every five minutes (Forum bus stop).

By Train

Maastricht-Randwyck station is located 250 metres from MECC Maastricht and is part of the national and international railway network. There are frequent trains to Maastricht Central Station, which is also linked to the national and international railway network.
