The Bobcat stand at Intermat 2015 will see the global launch of several new telescopic handler models from the company.

The first of the new telehandlers is the TL358 6m lift height compact telehandler, which is available with two rated capacities of 2.6 or 3 tonne.

Bobcat is also showing the new 13m and 14m lift height T35130S and T35140S telehandlers, which are aimed at the rental industry in particular, and offer a 3.5 tonne maximum lift capacity.

The new TL358 6m telehandler, with 2.10m width and height dimensions, is designed for easy access to congested areas and small buildings. The TL358 can also be supplied with a version of the cab which has more height for increased visibility for the operator.

The introduction of the new 13m and 14m models at Intermat 2015 follows on from the launch of the new Bobcat 10m, 12m, 14m and 18m lift height telescopic handlers over the last year or so.

Bobcat said that while their simpler design was intended to meet the needs of the rental business, the new T35130S and T35140S telehandlers still offered many of the advantages of the new generation models. It said that the easy-to-use compact stabilisers ensured that the full capabilities of all the new telescopic handlers could be used in confined working areas and close to walls, with a minimal loss of reach.

As in other new generation machines, the T35130S and T35140S telehandlers offer features such as a new cab which has a large parabolic windscreen providing panoramic visibility especially when handling loads at height.

Meanwhile, Bobcat has expanded the company’s range of compact tracked loaders with the launch of the new T450 model. Filling the gap in the range between the T110 and T590 models once occupied by the discontinued T140 loader, the T450 is said to offer a massive increase in power, combined with hydraulic and hydrostatic efficiency improvements that translate into increased productivity.
