Godwin Pumps in the US has completed implementation of Result Group's rentalresult rental software system.

Godwin, which is one of the largest manufacturers of pumps in the world and also operator of a major pump rental business in the US, said the system is being used for its rental, sales and servicing activities.

"We continue to invest in business practices that will solidify our standing as the world leader in portable pump rentals," said Godwin president, John Paz. "We are very excited to have completed our rollout of the rentalresult application." Mr Paz said rentalresult was the best rental software available today.

Godwin Pumps does not release figures about its business, but IRN understands that its US pump rental business alone has annual revenues exceeding US$100 million.

"The successful implementation of rentalresult at Godwin Pumps demonstrates how well-run businesses focused on both rental and distribution find value and efficiencies with rentalresult," said Result Group, senior vice president, James Horsfall.

Godwin Pumps has a rental fleet of over 6000 portable rental pumps and 3200 pieces of related equipment for use in dewatering in construction, mining and quarrying; in drinking water supply; and in wastewater bypasses in municipal, industrial and environmental markets.

It has 25 branch offices in the US and a further 300 sales distributors worldwide. Its pump range includes Godwin Dri-Prime units with automatic self-priming to 28 ft, dry-running and solids handling capabilities; a variety of electric submersible Sub-Prime pumps; hydraulic submersible Heidra models; and petrol-powered Wet-Prime pumps.
