Specialized transport equipment manufacturer Goldhofer will show its PST/ES-E self-propelled heavy-duty module type transporters at the SMM maritime trade fair in Hamburg, Germany, from 9 to 12 September 2014.

The PST/ES-E SPMT has hydrostatic drive and electronic multi-way steering and a vehicle width of 2,430 mm. The transporters are designed for ultra-heavy loads, have an axle load of up to 60 tonnes and use standard truck tyres. Four PowerPack drive units are available.

Horst Häfele, Goldhofer sales director for heavy duty modules, said, “We shall be informing visitors in Hamburg about the world firsts for the SPMT market that we presented only a few weeks ago at our Innovation Days in Memmingen. Our revolutionary ideas are predestined for maritime operations.”
