Graeme Hill, the long-time EPL and current Skylift-EPL operations director is joining CTE UK in mid-July as general manager.

Mr Hill spent over 25 years working at EPL and stayed with the business when it was acquired by the Lavendon Group. Access International understands that his departure from Lavendon is an amicable one.

Brian King, managing director of CTE UK, speaking to AI at the Safety & Health Expo in Birmingham, said; "Graeme knows the industry inside out, particularly on truck mounts. We think that he will do CTE UK a lot of good."

Mr Hill has knowledge of the CTE products from his time at EPL and Lavendon and was one of the customers who helped CTE develop the 3.5 t trucks for the UK.

Brian King, who will remain as managing director, said Mr Hill's appointment meant that the company would be well prepared to take advantage of opportunities when the market improves. His appointment will also give Mr King more time to dedicate to the Power Tower business.
