UK manufacturer of wood chippers and green waste shredders, GreenMech Ltd has appointed Orange Plant as a regional dealer.

Newcastle-Upon-Tyne based Orange Plant operates seven depots around the country selling and renting arboriculture equipment.

“Since 2001 we’ve been exclusive to Timberwolf products", said Joanna Chapman, managing director, Orange Plant, “Whilst we’ll continue to carry their machines in our fleet, and provide service support to machines we’ve sold into the market, we decided to switch to the GreenMech brand. The innovation they’ve brought to the industry will see new markets opening up for us”.

Orange Plant has a rental fleet including 150 wood chippers and sells wood chipping, shredding and stump grinding machinery.

Martin Lucas, sales director, GreenMech commented: “This is a significant step for us. In Orange Plant we have a company with vast experience in the arboriculture market that can help us design tomorrows’ machines that will bring additional benefits to tree surgeons, contractors, groundsmen and local authorities.”
