07 August 2013

US logistics company Greentree Logistics plans to purchase SCS Transport LLC.

SCS Transport is a national transportation and logistics company based in Savage, Minnesota. Following the acquisition, the new SCS division will continue to focus on standard dry van truckload and LTL transportation, a company spokesperson said.

Founders of SCS, Dan Johnson and Josh Lynch, in addition to the current company drivers, operators and dispatch personnel, will continue to be part of the new division.

Shane Grutsch, president of Greentree Logistics, said, "I am really excited to bring in the team from SCS because they do so many things the right way. We need to continue to focus on our customers and our people and the rest will take care of itself. The future is bright for SCS and Greentree, and I’m looking forward to being a part of it."
