07 July 2016

A Heijmans consortium has reached financial close on the Amsterdam Court House project, in the Netherlands, worth some €235 million.

The consortium, New Amsterdam Court House (NACH), is made up of Heijmans, Facilicom, Macquarie Capital, ABT, DVP, De Nijs and KAAN Architecten, and includes 30 years of management and maintenance, post-construction.

Construction of the court house will begin in August 2017 and is scheduled for completion in 2020, according to Heijmans.

In February, Heijmans announced a 6% increase in its revenues of €2 billion for 2015, after seven consecutive years of decline.

The company has also entered into other consortiums this year, including the Hart van Zuid Rotterdam District Area Development, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, with Ballast Nedam, as well as forming a consortium with Besix Group, RebelValley and TDPartners for the third chamber of the Beatrix Lock, and the widening of the Lek Canal PPP project, also in the Netherlands.
