Belgium rental company Heli is now fully occupying its new facility in Wetteren Belgium, consolidating all its Belgium operations and divisions in one location except the Heli-Cat division, which is officially a separate company.

The new site in Wetteren provides 50% more space than the combined footprint of the old sites - plus there is room for expansion in the future. The new facility is a 4 hectare site, on which there are 6000sqm of warehouses, and 1650sqm of offices.

The move has been carried out in two stages with the workshop, parts department, personal equipment department and Heli's rental fleet moved in at the end of last year. Now the offices are complete the whole team is in the new facility.

Heli operates from two locations: the head office in Wetteren, Belgium, and Heli-France in Pontoise, close to Paris. The Heli-Cat division, which specialises in the rental of Bobcat products, will stay located in Melle, 5km from Wetteren.

Sales director Wim LeRoy says the option remains to move Heli-Cat into the new building as well in the long term, as there is a remaining empty office floor as well as a spare hectare of ground.
