In Sweden Fagioli PSC has performed the load out of two living quarters modules in Gothenburg for Pharmadule Emtunga. Presenting a challenge on the load out of the 2200 tonne Statoil module was a 90 degree turn with less than 1 m clearance. The module was loaded onto 138 axle lines of SPMT and moved 500 m from the fabrication hall to the load out quay. PSC's scope of works also included: the supply of the ballast system, winches and associated engineering; weighing the module on eight Fagioli PSC Flat Jacks; designing the sea fastenings; and supplying the barge and towage from Gothenburg to Norway.
