Industrial crane companies join forces

16 January 2014

UK-based industrial crane manufacturer Street Crane Company and industrial crane supplier Movitecnica, based in Peru, have agreed a trading partnership to supply ZX hoists and VX heavy duty hoists to the crane market in Peru.

Andrew Pimblett, managing director of Street Crane Company said, “The total crane market in Peru has grown from $8 million in 2009 to over $25 million in 2012, so the potential is huge. We will be supplying from the UK our ZX hoists for lifting needs up to 50 tonnes and VX heavy duty hoists for handling loads up to 200 tonnes.”

Engineers from Movitecnica will visit the Street Crane factory in Derbyshire to familiarise themselves with the equipment, while engineers from Street Crane Company will regularly visit Lima to give ongoing support, a company spokesperson added.
