IPAF announces north west meeting

IPAF has announced that SpanSet is to host the IPAF North West regional meeting on 30 January 2014 at the Cottons Hotel and Spa, in Knutsford, Cheshire.

Bob Murdoch, height safety sales manager, SpanSet, will lead the meeting, and will speak on re-certification and thorough examination of personal fall protection equipment.

Martin Wraith, INATIV, will give a presentation on the loading and unloading of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), while Mark Clarke, director, Clarke Health & Safety Consultants, will discuss the erection of scaffolding using MEWPs. IPAF director of operations Giles Councell will give an overview of what IPAF does and how to get involved in the work of IPAF committees.
