IPAF Summit to focus on safety

The IPAF Summit is set to take place, as usual, on the same day as the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs), in London, UK, on 10 March this year.

The focus of the Summit, which is a high-profile conference bringing together senior representatives from across the access industry, will be safety.

It has been 10 years since IPAF started its accident reporting project, and over this time the industry has witnessed advances in technology, training, and regulation to provide a safer working environment for operators.

However, accidents still happen, and this year the IPAF Summit will look at the future of safety in the access industry through top level presentations from leading experts on the subject. The speakers will be announced soon.

Attendance is free and delegates should register in advance at the event website.

IAPA and IPAF Summit 2022

Apart from cutting-edge information, there are a range of opportunities to network during the event, as well as at the traditional IPAF Networking evening, which is held the evening before the Summit and the IAPAs, (9 March). This year the informal drinks reception will be based at Illuminate, at London’s Science Museum. Numbers are limited for this event and entry is available only to those who have pre-booked

Delegates are also invited take part in a site visit on the morning after the Summit and awards. On 11 March, NiftyLift will open its Milton Keynes-based world headquarters to provide welcome refreshments, a presentation, a behind-the-scenes tour of their factory floor and a buffet lunch. Spaces are limited, so please book soon
