Alex Vasilionka is swapping the IPS warehouse for the company’s growing fleet of parts sales vans.

After five and a half years as a warehouse operative, Mr Vasilionka is now on the road as the sixth member of the mobile sales team. Based at the UK company’s premises in Telford, his territory includes the West Midlands, South West England and southern Wales.

Alex - known as Vas to his friends and colleagues – said: “My customer base varies from small hire companies to leading independents like GT Access and really big outfits like Nationwide Platforms. They have a huge variety of machines and very different fleet compositions, so it is a challenging job but very rewarding.”

IPS recently replaced its panel vans with chassis cabs fitted with custom box bodies and increased the fleet from five to six parts vans, making regular visits to the depots of powered access rental companies across the UK, bringing a ‘one-stop-shop’ experience direct to the customer.

Dave Faulkner, Parts Sales Director at IPS, said: “After nearly six years in the warehouse, Vas knows pretty much every single part by sight. This experience and knowledge is proving invaluable in helping him quickly understand and meet the customers’ needs.”
