The Youngman Group has appointed IPS France to provide service and supply of spare parts for its Youngman BoSS X-Series aerial lifts in France.

Youngman supplies the BoSS X-Series machines direct to major rental and Industrial customers and also supplies to end users through local distributors. IPS France will provide comprehensive product support to all owners of BoSS X-Series machines. This includes sales of spare parts, warranty repair and technical advice and support.

The Youngman BoSS X-Series lifts comprises three push-round and one self-propelled micro-scissor lifts, providing working heights of 4 m to 5.2 m. These compact and lightweight machines are increasingly popular in low level access applications from construction and facilities maintenance to retail, said Youngman.

Thomas Méheust, Youngman Group’s business development manager said: “We already have more than 400 machines in France and they are gaining in popularity, so it was important for us to find the right partner for service and the supply of spare parts.”

IPS France is a division of Independent Parts & Service Ltd (IPS), the UK-based international replacement parts and after-sales service provider for aerial lifts. This distribution agreement follows the merger between IPS and another UK company, Access Platform Sales Ltd (APS) earlier this year –UK distribution, spares and service provider for Youngman Group’s BoSS aerial lifts.

Frédéric Allier, managing director of IPS France, said: “Following the merger with APS, our combined group has an unparalleled level of product knowledge and technical information in the low level access sector.”

IPS France will work closely with colleagues at APS in the UK, to keep a strategic stock of spare parts in its warehouse in Abzac, Gironde. Owners of Youngman BoSS X lifts will be supported by IPS France’s nationwide network of 52 mobile service engineers and its technical training courses.
