UK-based IPS is relaunching its parts vans service as a fleet of mobile stores.

The powered access replacement parts specialist has replaced its panel vans with chassis cabs fitted with custom box bodies. The additional floor space provided by the new bodies, coupled with new racking, creates a walk-in store environment. It also enables each van to carry 20% more fast-moving product lines than the previous vans.

Dave Faulkner of IPS said, “Buying straight from the IPS parts van is quick, easy and saves on postage fees. With decades of experience in the powered access industry, we know exactly which replacement parts to stock, in order to fulfil customer demand.”

IPS is expanding its fleet from five to six vehicles. Its parts vans make regular visits to the depots of powered access rental companies across the UK. IPS also offers ordering parts online and by phone; plus its Parts Management System.

Mr Faulkner added, “Our new vans enable us to carry even more fast-moving parts, helping to further reduce down time and increase revenues for our customers.
