There is still time to register for this year’s International Rental Conference (IRC), taking place on 21 November in Shanghai, China.

Mr Whitehouse is COO of Australian rental company Kennards Group, Mr du Boÿs is CEO of French rental company Kiloutou, and Mr Turner heads up Netherlands-based Riwal.

The 4th IRC Asia, organised by International Rental News (IRN) and KHL Group, is being held on Monday 21 November at the Double Tree Hilton in Shanghai, close to the venue for the Bauma China exhibition, which opens the following day on 22 November.

Other speakers in the line-up include Matt Fearon, president of manufacturer Terex AWP/Genie USA, and Cyril Drouin, chief e-commerce officer for Greater China at Saatchi & Saatchi.

Gary McArdle, executive vice president and COO of business intelligence company Rouse Services will also address delegates; as will Fei Xiaodong, vice general manager and sales and operations director Jiangsu Xugong Guanglian Machinery Rental.

As well as presentations from these industry figures, the event will offer a range of networking opportunities and question and answer sessions.

The conference’s gold sponsors are Terex AWP, JLG Industries, and XCMG, while silver sponsors are Exmile, Perkins and Volvo, and supporting sponsors are Haulotte, Dingli, Manitou and Skyjack.

The event is supported by Bauma China, IPAF and the Machinery Management and Rental division of the Chinese Construction Industry Association (CCIA). Around 300 delegates from across the industry are set to attend to hear the latest forecasts and news from the rental industry.
