Husqvarna Construction Products, part of the recently created Husqvarna Group spun off by Electrolux, is to market its products under the single Husqvarna brand from the start of 2007. Existing brands Dimas, Partner and Target will be phased out, although Husqvarna will retain Diamant Boart for its stone industry tools. “By focusing on a single brand, Husqvarna, we can clearly show our strength in the market and be perceived by everyone as a strong, global brand”, said Anders Ströby, chief executive officer of Husqvarna Construction Products (HCP). Pictured is one of the new Husqvarna FS 300/400/500 range of floor saws, all of which incorporate a patent-pending anti vibration system.
