Italy-based Isoli has begun a collaboration with Chinese construction machinery manufacturer LiuGong.

Under the agreement, signed at the end of last year, Isoli truck mounted platforms will be mounted in China and distributed by LiuGong’s sales network in China and export markets.

Guangxi LiuGong Machinery, which is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and is one of the world’s biggest construction equipment manufacturers, initially confirmed the partnership with Isoli at the beginning of December.

Already, several Isoli platforms has been installed and delivered in the Chinese market.

Gabriele Valli, sales director at Isoli, said, “This agreement has a strategic importance for Isoli. We have the feeling the cooperation should increasingly consolidate our presence in a market where there will be strong growth and expansion for the truck mounted platform and access business”.

Mr Valli added that Asian markets in general are becoming very important for Isoli, which is why the company is investing heavily there. Isoli’s new sales presence in Singapore, Isoli Asia, handles distribution in Southeast Asia, and has already seen good results, said Mr Valli, and will prompt greater growth in the years ahead.
