Judging panel for the second IAPA access awards finalised

The judging panel for the 2010 International Awards for Powered Access (IAPA) has been finalised. The deadline for award entries is 31 December 2009.

The judging panel is:

- Paul Adorian, managing director of PAC (Powered Access Certification) Ltd and a past managing director of IPAF;

- John Ball, managing director of Height for Hire and current president of IPAF;

- Renzo Pagliero, managing director of Italian manufacturer Multitel Pagliero;

- Murray Pollok, managing editor of Access International.

- Andy Studdert, chief executive officer of NES Rentals and last year's winner of the IPAF Safety Champion of the Year Award.

With the judging panel now in place readers should note that the deadline for entries is 31 December. There are categories suitable for both manufacturers and rental companies involved in powered access, including: rental company of the year; contribution to safety for both manufacturers and rental companies; training awards and powered access product of the year.

The 2010 IAPA awards, jointly organised by Access International and IPAF, will take place in London on Thursday, 25 March 2010 following the IPAF Summit.

The awards are open to both members and non-members of IPAF, and will be judged on a company's performance in 2009 or products launched in 2009.
