KBR names new CEO

KBR has named Stuart Bradie president and chief executive officer, effective June 2, 2014. Mr. Bradie succeeds William "Bill" Utt, who is retiring.

Mr. Bradie brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the role. He joins KBR from project management company WorleyParsons, where he held the position of group managing director - operations and delivery.

Mr. Bradie also previously worked for PT Kvaerner Indonesia and Kvaerner Philippines, where he held the positions of managing director and country manager.

In his new role, Mr. Bradie will lead the KBR business from its global headquarters in Houston, Texas. KBR employs 27,000 employees worldwide in locations that include North America, Asia, Australia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America.

Mr. Bradie will also be appointed as a member of KBR's Board of Directors when he joins KBR in June.
