United Kingdom-based Keltbray Group, which includes demolition, decommissioning and remediation among its range of services, has climbed 76 places in a national newspaper’s prestigious league table for businesses.

The Sunday Times Grant Thornton 2016 Top Track 250 league table ranks Britain's private mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales. It is compiled by research company Fast Track.

Keltbray was listed in 62nd place in the recently published table, largely due to a 25% increase in turnover for the financial year ending October 31, 2015. A year ago, it entered the list at number 138.

Group chief executive Brendan Kerr said: “We are pleased with our improved positon in the market.

“This reflects our continued growth and the strengthening of our capability and services portfolio, which was recently extended to include a reinforced concrete frame business named Keltbray Structures.

“We can now provide demolition, groundworks, piling and concrete structures solutions as integrated or standalone services.”

Brendan added that Keltbray will invest more than £2 million (US$2.5 million) a year in training and development, and called on the UK to adopt a long-term vision for infrastructure.
