Kiloutou to expand south west presence

07 December 2015

Kiloutou will acquire Aquiloc, a general equipment rental company in South West France.

Aquiloc has 23 branches, including one in La Rochelle under the Aloutout brand, and a workforce of more than 150. It has a fleet of about 5000 machines, mainly mini excavators, loaders, backhoes and compactors.

Kiloutou said the acquisition will consolidate its leading position in the south west and provide both Aquiloc and Kiloutou customers with a broader range of services.

Xavier du Boÿs, Kiloutou Group CEO, said, “This alliance allows us to continue developing our network in France and to strengthen our local presence in a highly dynamic region in line with the many acquisitions made in recent years. I am very pleased to welcome the team of Aquiloc Kiloutou to the group.”

Philippe Cassous, chairman and majority shareholder of Aquiloc, added, "I am delighted with the acquisition. It will allow the company to continue its development by combining our forces with those of a national brand. I am confident in the ability of the two companies’ teams to make this merger a success.”

The acquisition is set to be finalised early in January 2016.
