Crane rental company Klema, based in Germany, has added a Grove GMK4080-1 crane to its fleet in Germany.

The order for the GMK4080-1 follows five previous deliveries in 2013, including two 100 tonne capacity GMK4100Ls with 60 metre main booms, an 80 tonne capacity GMK4080-1 all terrain with a 51 m boom, a 100 tonne capacity GMK5095 with maximum reach of 83 m with a jib, and a 6-axle 400 tonne GMK6400, with 60 m boom and a MegaWingLift attachment. The GMK6400 is powered by one engine.

Klaus Kroeppel, Manitowoc vice president for sales in central and Eastern Europe, said, “The fact that these five cranes have been purchased in such close succession, highlights the instant impact these Grove cranes have made to Klema’s business.”

The new GMK4080-1 will be used to carry out work on sites across south Germany, a company spokesperson said.
