Latest G&Z concrete paving technology on display

10 February 2014

Guntert & Zimmerman (G&Z) will showcase its updated TC1500 texture cure machine, together with its S600 multi-purpose concrete slipform paver and TeleEnd telescopic end section at ConExpo-Con/AGG 2014.

The manufacturer will also be rolling out its EGON IntelliMatics system to the US market at the exhibition – remote monitoring technology that keeps an eye on engine functions to catch small issues before they become major problems.

It said this technology had now been expanded to all aspects of machine operation, including hydraulic and electrical functions.

The updated TC1500 will feature new relocatable jacking columns as well as a new cure spray hood with quick width change feature. In addition it will have new cure spray system and new EGON Plus+1 controls.

The S600 will be equipped with new features including EGON IntelliMatics and the company’s Tight Trackline Paving Package. This technology is said to allow contractors to pave with only 300 mm of companion lane trackline.
