Link-Belt to showcase 80 tonne RTC at Bauma

USA-based crane manufacturer Link-Belt will exhibit the RTC-8080 Series II at Bauma. The 80 tonne capacity rough terrain is the newest addition to the Link-Belt range.
The crane has a 38.7 metre boom, with two modes for boom telescoping: the A-max proportioning system and a standard one for optimum strength and stability, the company said. It comes available with three on-board fly jib options, offering the end user with manual offset positions of 2, 15, 30, and 45 degrees.
Other Link-Belt cranes to be exhibited include the three-axle, hydrostatically-driven 100 tonne capacity RTC-80100 Series II. The RTC-80100 has a five section 45.7 m boom and a maximum tip height of 76.2 metres.
Without counterweight and outrigger boxes, the RTC-80110 Series II transports at less than 4.3 metres tall and 3 metres wide, the company said.
Power is from a Cummins Euro Stage IIIA / Tier 3 or Euro Stage IIIB / Tier 4 Interim engine. Features include a tilting operator’s cab and a new on-board fly with extension options.
