Liugong debuts Stage IV loader

20 April 2015

Liugong has launched its first ever wheeled loader to be fitted with a Stage IV emissions engine. The machine for European markets was unveiled at the Intermat exhibition where it was shown alongside the Chinese manufacturer’s latest excavators and Dressta-branded dozers.

Speaking at the exhibition, Liugong chairman Zeng Guang'an said, “Europe is both an opportunity and a challenge for Liugong.”

The 856H is the first in a new generation of wheeled loaders for Liugong, and features a new look and feel for the company. The company highlighted its new spacious cab, with improved sight lines to both the front and rear of the machine. Maintenance and servicing has been made easier with a front-tilting hood and grouped service points which are accessible from ground level.

Howard Dale, chairman of Liugong Europe added, “We have a strong order book for the 856H.”

The company also announced that this June it will open a new state-of the art research and development facility at its base in Liuzhou, China. This will have the capacity for 1,300 engineers, alongside prototyping facilities and test cells.
