Locquet has had a rental division since 2005.

Belgian rental company Locquet Motors has ordered a selection of TowerLight VT-1 and Hydropowercube lighting products for its rental division, Locquet Lighting.

The new division is located near Gent and focuses on lighting for all types of site work, emergency services and roadworks or events. The division's equipment range includes mobile light towers with or without internal generator and incorporates conventional and small balloon lighting sets.

The VT-1 SuperLight is 9 m, 360° vertical hydraulic mast with single lever operation, enabling one person to erect the mast in less than 30 seconds. The tower is equipped with a 116 l fuel tank which is bunded for oil, water and diesel. Forty VT-1s can be delivered on a single 40 ft flat bed vehicle.

The Hydropowercube has been developed primarily for the outside event markets and has a vertical telescopic mast reaching a maximum height of 8.5 m. The unit is secured via four, adjustable, stabilisers. The cube offers a useful 9.0 kVA of auxiliary power for ancillary equipment.

Locquet, founded by Charles Locquet in 1878, is a specialist in the sale and service of generators. The company, now managed by the fifth generation of the Locquet family, created the rental division in 2005.

TowerLight, which has a sales and marketing base in Milton Keynes, UK, has been manufacturing lighting sets from their manufacturing base near Milan, Italy for the past 12 years.
