LoxamCity opens seventh Paris branch

23 July 2014

French rental giant Loxam has continued to expand its city centre rental project, with the opening of its seventh LoxamCity branch in Paris.

The new branch is located in the Montparnasse district of Paris. Like the six existing local LoxamCity branches in the capital, the new office is targeted at local craftsmen, SMEs and smaller contractors.

It offers a range of small equipment and tools dedicated to finishing work. This includes power tools, sanders, scaffolding equipment, generators, heaters and plumbing hardware.

Loxam launched its LoxamCity initiative at the end of 2011, and said the idea had been a success, with the new offices responding to growing demand for efficient and reliable equipment that is quickly available and suitable for difficult-to-access urban sites.

LoxamCity stores are typically 200-300 m2 in size and with a fleet or around 300 tools. So far all the offices are located in Paris, but the company said it planned to expand the initiative to other cities and urban areas outside the capital.
