Mazzocchi, based in New Jersey, has over 45 years business experience, and will provide LVI with an ‘in’ to the public sector market place as well as provide the capability to work in the confined sites typical of NE US cities. Mazzocchi's fleet of over 200 machines includes some of the largest high reach demolition rigs in the country.

LVI president and CEO Robert McNamara said in a statement: “Mazzocchi is a highly regarded demolition company with a long history of serving its clients well, and together we intend to expand our presence in the demolition, wrecking, environmental remediation and related markets, particularly in the north eastern USA. We look forward to Mazzocchi's significant contributions to the continued success of LVI as we add significant demolition/wrecking capabilities to LVI's existing network of structural demolition capabilities.”

LVI currently operates from more than 30 offices US–wide, offering demolition services for both industrial and commercial clients, and this acquisition enhances the company's continued growth in the sector, as well as adding unique capabilities in the form of specialised demolition equipment.
