A consortium comprising Dragados, Bovis Lend Lease and Sufi has won the contract to build and manage a new € 150 million hospital in Majadahonda, Madrid. The 800-bed facility is the first healthcare project in Spain to be awarded on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) concession basis. The client, Comunidad de Madrid, plans to commission another seven PPP hospitals in the city over the next four to six years.
