German rental company Mateco, was able to help ensure the German football season could resume on time following heavy snow falls on the Stuttgart stadium roof.

Thick snow on the roof of the Mercedes Benz arena in Stuttgart was a potential risk to spectators and had to be fixed before the next game could go ahead.

Mateco's, Stuttgart team was called in and brought several truck-mounted work platforms with up to 62 m working height and associated service personnel. Carrying up to three additional auxiliary workers of a local building firm, Mateco operators could take the men up to the roof with brooms and carefully clear away the snow masses without damaging the stadium roof.

The programme of games was able to go ahead unhindered.
