Mazio has designed the breakers, which are also suited to quarrying and mining environments, for carriers from 1 to 140 t of operating weight — including mini excavators, skid steer loaders, backhoe loaders, and excavators — and says they will withstand the brutal conditions faced in demolition applications while maintaining reliable performance.

The breakers were manufactured in the USA are available with the company’s exclusive vibration-activated Digital Hour Meter, which is said to accurately measure the tool’s operational hours, differentiating from the carrier hours, providing tracking for preventative maintenance activities and billable hours.

A 12-year integrated, sealed battery powers the meter as it automatically and autonomously tracks the tool’s impulse during operation, calculating its true work hours, and fibreglass-reinforced heavy-duty rubber case protects the meter from harsh working environments.

Mazio offers six XL breaker models for 30 to 140 t excavators, and five models for excavators of 11 to 36 t, ranging from 1 t in weight and 2,050 mm in length (6.7 ft) to 2.6 t and 2,650 mm (8.7 ft).

For compact carriers, there are six breaker models available from 130 kg (287 lb) and 990 mm (3.2 ft) to 580 kg (1,279 lb) and 1,800 mm (5.9 ft).
