MB adds to global network

02 November 2010

Italian crusher bucket specialist MB has added to its worldwide network with the opening of two new offices, one in Japan and the other in the USA.

The new US facility is in Reno, Nevada, and will manage MB product sales and deliveries in North America, supplying customers with product from stock. This will substantially reduce delivery times since buckets will no longer have to shipped from Europe prior to delivery.

The Reno centre will also coordinate after-sales service and support for US customers. The company's efforts to penetrate the US market began in 2005, when it first attended the Conexpo show and subsequently gained contracts from customers including the US Army.

The new Japanese office is located in the Shinagawa area of Tokyo, to provide the company's Japanese customers with after-sales service and technical support. As in the case of the US office, it holds stocks of new buckets and spare parts to reduce lead times for new orders and to improve the efficiency of MB's aftersales efforts.
