Bremen, Germany-based rental company Megalift, has added a Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 mobile crane to its fleet.

The 350 tonne capacity LTM 1350-6.1 wheeled mobile telescopic crane has a 70 metre boom plus lattice jibs from 6 to 78 m. It is the first Liebherr crane to join the Megalift fleet, which ranges from 200 to 500 tonne cranes. A Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1, which has a 200 tonne lifting capacity, has also been ordered.

Commenting on the purchase, company owner Bernd Preuße, said, "The Liebherr crane offers good load capacities and for a 6-axle machine it offers outstanding logistics handling.”

The first job for the new unit was in the wind power sector, the company added.
