Megamas gets LEEA certificate

The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) has accredited Brunei's Megamas Training Company.

Megamas offers health, safety and environment training. The company specializes in offshore, fire, first aid, technical and marine training, either at its training centre, offshore or at a client's location.

The company's training centre, based in Mumong, Kuala Belait, is used to conduct material handling courses for Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) Company Sdn Bhd. BSP has trained and developed two Bruneians - Pg Mohd Azman Pg Tajuddin and Abang Jaludin Abang Md Noor - to deliver courses to its staff in the region.

Founded in 1944, LEEA provides training programmes, standards setting and the development of examination and licensing systems for the lifting industry worldwide.
