Mills appoints new CFO

Caroline Pepe dos Santos Leonard has been appointed as chief financial and investor Relations officer of Brazilian rental company Mills.

Pepe replaces Sérgio Kariya, who temporarily took on the role after James Oliver Guerreiro Carneiro stepped down from the position in January. Kariya remains in his ongoing position of CEO of the company.

Pepe has more than 20 years of experience in finance in multinational and private equity companies. She has worked as financial officer at Patria Investimentos, financial and administrative officer at Grupo Ultra, CFO at LVMH, financial, planning and controlling officer at Telefônica, among a range of consulting roles.

Mills has also announced another addition to its board, through the election of Tatiana Cristina Aranda Medina as officer without a specific designation.

Executive officer of IT and digital transformation at Mills since February 2022, Medina has more than 20 years of experience in IT and digital transformation, working in companies such as Accenture, Duratex, Louis Dreyfus and Klabin.

She is chairperson on the board of IT association CIONET Brazil and in 2021 she was one of two Brazilians on the list of the 100 best global IT leaders, according to the Hot Topic ranking, an innovative leadership platform.
