The LR1600/2 crawler crane provides outstanding load capacities, variable boom and derrick systems as well as enhanced component dimensions for low cost transport, the company said. Equipped with the SL8F3 boom system, the crane is ideally equipped to erect and service wind towers with hub heights up to 344 feet, and ground-bearing pressure is kept to a minimum with wide 7-foot track pads.

“We at ML Crane Group are excited to announce and welcome the LR 1600/2, 660-ton crawler crane to our vast fleet of cranes,” said Scott Wilson, president, ML Crane Group. “The crane recently arrived and its first mission is a wind maintenance project for a customer that has used our company since we started in wind energy, over twenty years ago.”
