M&M Crane Hire adds Terex all terrains

M&M Mobile Crane Hire, headquartered in Uxbridge, UK, has taken delivery of two 40 tonne capacity Terex AC 40/2L all terrain cranes for its rental fleet.

The 40 tonne capacity crane has a 37.4 metre boom and a maximum reach of 45.4 m. They replace two Terex City cranes purchased in 2003 and 2004.

Brian Tierney, M&M Mobile Crane Hire managing director, said, “We decided to do the double primarily because of the AC 40/2L’s 37 metre fully powered boom. We also liked the compactness of the crane combined with its low headroom.”

“It will be available for general duties anywhere in the UK and we fully expect it to enjoy a high utilisation rate,” Tierney continued. “The decision process was also helped by the fact that we have always enjoyed a good working relationship with Terex. Since 2000 when we invested in our first Terex crane, our two companies have worked together in a positive and constructive way.”
