More Manitou telehandlers for Morris Leslie

25 March 2015

Manitou is to supply 140 MT telehandlers to Morris Leslie Plant Hire, a UK-wide company with its headquarters in Scotland.

This takes the number of Manitou products ordered by Morris Leslie in the past 12 months to 250, and is part of a £45 million (€61.2 million) fleet investment planned for this year.

Manitou will supply equipment with lift heights from 6 to 14 metres and load capacities from 2500 to 4000 kg. The company said its latest order would help Morris Leslie develop its customer base and add value for existing customers.

Jonathan Tapp, managing director of Manitou UK, commented: “We are delighted to be a key supplier to the Morris Leslie Group as it continually grows its business in a variety of hire industries. Our product range is designed to meet the needs of an evolving market.”

Graham Ogilvie, group operations director for Morris Leslie, described Manitou as “an important partner in our continued investment programme.”
