Two further manufacturers have signed up to be silver sponsors of the 2010 ESTA Awards of Excellence to be held at the Hilton Munich Park Hotel in Munich, Germany on Thursday 22 April 2010, during the Bauma exhibition.

Link-Belt and Sennebogen join Goldhofer, Kobelco, Manitowoc, Scheuerle and Tadano as silver sponsors, bringing the total up to seven. Liebherr and Terex are headlining as gold sponsors, while the list of supporting sponsors so far comprises Faymonville, Load Systems International, Modulift and Sarens.

Last week it was confirmed that a record number of firms from around Europe have entered the awards. "We are delighted with the response," said Christian-Jacques Vernazza, ESTA president and president of Mediaco, France's leading mobile crane rental company.

Called the "largest crane and heavy haulage party in Europe", the 2010 dinner also promises to be the biggest to date.

The awards dinner is jointly run by ESTA and International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine. ESTA (European Association of Heavy Haulage, Transport and Mobile Cranes) is the pan-European association for national trade associations representing mobile crane rental, heavy haulage and abnormal load transport companies.

The 2009 winners included JJ Kraner of Denmark, Sarens from Belgium, STDR-TEDL of France, Fagioli from Italy and Ainscough Crane Hire from the UK.
