Nationwide £23 million fleet replacement

Nationwide Platforms, part of the Lavendon Group, spent £23 million (US$36 million) on fleet replacement in 2012.

Following the additions, the UK-based rental company has released a new guide to its 11,300-strong fleet. Among last year's aquisitions are:

  • Z30N/22 Genie boom lifts
  • Haulotte Star 10 boom lifts
  • Z60/34 Genie articulating boom lifts
  • Compact 14 scissor lifts
  • HAB S280-25 scissor lifts
  • Nano SP Power Tower

The guide also includes information about the company's BlueSky safety products , including the SkySiren anti-entrapment system, as well as training and consultancy services.

Nationwide also provides the new IPAF Powered Access Licence Plus (PAL+) course at locations across the UK.
