Specialist manufacturer PB Lifttechnik has extended its ES series with a 22.5 m working height model, the S225-12ES. It is the German company's tallest scissor, and the tallest in the world having a 1.2 m width, it said.

Launched at Platformers' Days in Hohenroda, the 10290 kg model has a payload of 450 kg. It is the same length as the S195 model, 4.49 m, and its transport height is 250 mm greater, at 2.89 m.

PB told AI that the series' outrigger pad mount design allows the full width of the machine to act as a moment arm to counter toppling forces.
