New branding and distributorship for Co.Me.T
05 May 2015
Co.Me.T has changed its branding from its longstanding yellow and black machine branding to the new-look white and green.
All its new products from now on will bear the white and green colouring, which the company says represents a renewed plan to expand into international market.
The Italian manufacturer has also struck a distributor deal with Imer France, in which the latter will represent Co.Me.T products in France. There were three Co.Me.T platforms on the Imer stand at the Intermat exhibition in April to mark the partnership.
On Co.Me.T’s stand at Intermat was its insulated Van which complies with ANSI/SIA A 92.2 category C – 46 kV standards for power line work.
This insulated platform is designed to work on electric power lines with medium voltage. The models’ articulated fly jib is designed to reach up and over all related obstacles.
The machine can measure grounding leakage and has hydraulic plugs (20 litres/min at 140 bar) positioned in the truck floor and in the basket to provide power supply to the hydraulic tools.
One of the characteristic of this vehicle is that it does not have a column inside the van. An internal heavy duty steel structure provides support to the turret and boom and allows extra space inside to store equipment.
Also on show was the X Trailer, part of the Xrange produced in partnership with XTrux and the new Eurosky 22-2-10 HQ JIB, designed for working inside and out. The XTrailer is a compact unit with dimension’s 3.1 m length x 1.8 m width x 2.1 m height and is designed to be hooked up to a range of vehicles including cars and vans.
The manufacturer says it closed 2014 with a positive balance and had produced 450 units during the year.
