New carriers for 3.5 t platforms

24 April 2008

European Euro 4 emission regulations for on-road vehicles came into force on 1 October this year, requiring platform manufacturers to fit their booms to new carriers. The SAIE show in Bologna - held at the end of October - will see several 3.5 t GVW truck mounted platforms being introduced from companies including GSR and Pagliero.

Haulotte is using Nissan’s new Cabstar carrier to meet the regulations, and will use the carrier on its 16 m and 18 m models as well as the 20 m version to be unveiled at Bauma next year.
