New Cummins UK logistics hub

Cummins has opened a new cross-business UK Logistics Centre (UKLC), which a spokesperson told IRN will be instrumental to the distribution of Cummins’ engines in UK and Ireland, many of which end up in rental plant and machinery. It will also play an important role in the global distribution of Cummins generators.

The 40,400 square metre centre in Apex Park, Daventry, West Northamptonshire, consolidates the storage capacity previously shared across Cummins and third-party warehouses and will support its UK manufacturing sites and aftermarket products.
