Steve Ducker has taken over as editor of Demolition & Recycling International (D&Ri).

Readers of KHL titles may already be familiar with Steve, who edited International Rental News on a maternity cover basis from March to October this year.

Steve succeeds Lindsay Gale, who has left to pursue new projects after 10 years at the helm, and bowed out at last week’s World Demolition Summit and Awards in Amsterdam. He received a special award from David Sinclair, honorary vice president of the European Demolition Association and past president of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors, recognising his work in the sector.

Steve, who also attended the event, joins D&Ri at an exciting time, with the World Demolition Summit taking place in the USA for the first time in 2016.

You are welcome to contact Steve with stories, ideas or feedback for the magazine, either by e-mail to steve.ducker@khl.com or by phone on +44 (0)1892 786210.

The November-December issue of D&Ri, which includes full coverage of this year’s World Demolition Awards winners, will be published later this month.
