New field-based Genie appointment

Terex AWP has appointment David Haldane to the newly created position of Genie sales manager, services for the UK and Ireland.

Reporting to Matt Skipworth, Genie senior manager, service solutions, Terex AWP, in this newly created field-based position, Haldane is responsible for supporting the sales of Genie service contracts and service solutions for all products supported by PSR and Genie in the UK and Ireland. As such, he will work in close relationship with the UK and Ireland sales team led by John Chandler, who has recently been named as Genie sales director for the UK and Ireland, Terex AWP.

Specialising in aerial platform products, Haldane joined Genie in June 2015 bringing significant experience from the rental sector.

“With his high level of technical expertise, in-depth knowledge of aerial work platform products and excellent understanding of our rental customers’ needs, David is already highly valued by our customers,” said Skipworth. “Focusing on service excellence, we are convinced that David’s “in-the-field” presence will play a key role in adding value to the combined PSR and Genie customer service proposition.”
