Mtandt Group has appointed Pradeep Agarwal as its chief executive officer and member of the executive board.

Mr Agarwal brings more than 30 years of experience to his role and previously served as CFO of Mtandt. He replaces Rakesh Modi who has become managing director of the company and sits on the supervisory board.

“We welcome Mr. Agarwal’s rich experience and leadership to the group,” said Mr Modi. “In his new role as chief executive, he will be responsible for delivering against our updated 2014 revenue plan, improving gross margins, and enhancing the company’s profitable growth. His results-oriented approach and ability to think strategically will play a pivotal role in extending our track record of innovation, while helping us grow profitability.

Mr Agarwal added, “Mtandt Group is a pioneer in the safety industry. Today the most influential companies in India are using aerial work platforms and safety systems supplied by the group to reach and work at height safely.

“I am excited to be part of the Executive Board and ready to take the new challenges as a CEO of company. We will be focusing on building Mtandt as a great brand while ensuring highest levels of customer satisfaction. Also we will be fully exploiting the opportunities in Online Retail and Franchise Stores across the country.

Previously Mr Agarwal worked with Ernst and Young and served as head of finance and operations with Harris Corporation.
