New Sany crawlers

Sany will show four new crawler cranes, the SCC500E, SCC3000WE, SCC3000 and the SCC16000 at the 2010 bauma China exhibition. Most noticeable will be the SCC16000, a 1600 tonne capacity heavy lift crawler.

Features of the 25000 tonne-metre giant include a modular design and super lift system. Maximum boom length is 156 metres and the maximum boom and jib combination length is given as 108 + 108 metres. Sany said the crane can drive while under full load, and there is a remote control option.

Also new is the SCC3000WE. A feature is its moveable counterweight and crane stability system with telescopic crawler tracks that can be expanded from their transport dimensions to a width of 4.8 m.

The SCC3000 is designed in compliance with ANSI B30.5, GB3811 and other domestic and international standards, the manufacturer said. Optimisation includes transportation dimensions of 3.2 metre height, 3 metre width and maximum single unit transport weight of 45 tonnes in line with global transportation regulations.
